Café au Lait Dahlia Tuber

The flower that Martha Stewart and Floret made famous; brides ask for it by name. This is a large, often called dinner plate dahlia (not a formal classification) that has a flat back and large, billowy petals that can range from a creamy yellow, blush, pink or any combination. We love how the flowers form and colors change over the course of the season, and the little floret tendrils that form at the end of summer into fall. There’s a reason it’s a popular flower, but caveat: not the longest lasting in the vase as a cut flower, and a bit finicky once cut, so does require special handling and treatment. Beautiful in the landscape, but will require staking.

We have built up our collection of dahlia varieties to be ideal for landscapes or cutting gardens, and are proud to offer disease-free stock.

We are not a large enough farm to offer wholesale to other growers. We appreciate you supporting our hard-work and efforts by purchasing retail from us.

*We don’t offer refunds on dahlia tuber stock, as we hand select and thoroughly examine each tuber for health and viability before it leaves the farm. Once in your hands, we have no control over your storage, environment or your growing conditions. We will send a sheet of growing culture information to help you with best practices for dahlias.
