Description

The flower that Martha Stewart and Floret made famous; brides ask for it by name. This is a large, often called dinner plate dahlia (not a formal classification) that has a flat back and large, billowy petals that can range from a creamy yellow, blush, pink or any combination. We love how the flowers form and colors change over the course of the season, and the little floret tendrils that form at the end of summer into fall. There’s a reason it’s a popular flower, but caveat: not the longest lasting in the vase as a cut flower, and a bit finicky once cut, so does require special handling and treatment. Beautiful in the landscape, but will require staking.
