Ricinus is a fast-growing evergreen shrub, often grown as an annual, with large, palmately lobed leaves and dense spikes of small flowers, followed by prickly seed capsules

Start indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost. Soak seeds for 24 hours prior to planting. Sow 1/4” deep, keep soil moist. Plant out after all danger of frost has passed. Full Sun. 24-36” spacing.

NOTE: All parts of the plant, including the seeds, are poisonous. Eating the seeds may be fatal. Keep seeds away from children and pets. Handle with caution.
